The San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. organization was founded in 2004 and has a dual mission. The first goal was to erect banners throughout San Dimas honoring those individuals currently serving in the military.
The Committee is now focusing on plans to construct a permanent monument honoring all veterans who have resided in San Dimas. The monument will represent all branches of service with special panels to recognize POWs/MIAs and those who have lost their lives while serving. The San Dimas City Council has designated the northwest corner of San Dimas Avenue/Commercial Street as the proposed location.
Every worthwhile endeavor is accomplished through the hard work and goodwill of individuals who will make it happen. San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. needs you!
Being formed is a grassroots Monument Committee to assist in accomplishing this project. This group will be known as “Friends of San Dimas Heroes.” Won’t you please support this project by becoming a “Friend” of H.E.R.O.E.S. and volunteering to serve on this very important Committee or the Banner Committee.
Please take a moment and complete the application and return it to San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S.
Join us in showing our gratitude to those who have served.
